Lena Skliarova-Mordvinova | AI Visionary & Founder
I bridge the lab and the boardroom. For over 23 years, I have been building and scaling artificial intelligence systems—long before modern frameworks existed, back when using a neural network meant writing the code entirely from scratch. My foundation is rooted deeply in science, beginning with developing proprietary Data Mining packages for large scientific data sets used across research institutions and publishing works on advanced Image Recognition Algorithms.
As a serial entrepreneur, I translate complex technical methodologies into market-ready, highly profitable products. I have steered products through their entire lifecycles—from initial ideation and technical architecture to global market launch and scale. As the Co-Founder of The Good Face Project, I helped create an industry-defining AI platform that transformed chemical compliance and formulation data science for global beauty brands.
Having navigated multiple traditional tech accelerators throughout my journey, I realized that the standard model often fails the core needs of technical innovators. Traditional programs optimize for short-term demo days and demand hefty equity up front. This realization led me to co-found Perseverance Accelerator—an "anti-accelerator" built to preserve founder ownership. Our model takes zero equity, operates stage and vertical-agnostically, and provides founders with ongoing, continuous development rather than arbitrary time constraints.
Beyond building companies, I serve as a speaker, moderator, AI ecosystem leader in San Diego, and a trusted Board Director and Strategic Advisor. Through our Venture Diagnostic framework, I work directly with boards, enterprise organizations, and high-growth startups to vet the business logic behind their pitches. I specialize in auditing AI architecture for long-term technical defensibility, evaluating software governance, and implementing resilient, human-in-the-loop product strategies.
Whether I am moderating high-level technical debates for engineering executives, advising a boardroom on sustainable AI implementation, or guiding a founder through their scaling strategy, my mission remains the same: ensuring that deep, responsible innovation matches commercial execution to build resilient, industry-disrupting products.
